At 1117 hrs Avenel Fire Department was dispatched to a confirmed structure fire at 51 Madison Ave. The first arriving units requested two engines to standby in Fire Headquarters.
At 1125 hrs District 11 was dispatched for the standby. While responding to Station 5, they were redirected to the scene. After arriving on scene they assisted in fire attack and overhaul operations.
