Around 8 PM Thursday evening our Fire Department along with multiple other area departments were dispatched into district 12 to assist the Colonia Fire Department . A single family house fire had erupted on Pine Tree Drive and the response had rapidly escalated to a second alarm assignment. Engine 11-1 responded from our District. The fire was knocked down and controlled within an hour. No residents were home at the time of the fire. The cause and origin are being investigated.
